sheepish withdrawal symptoms

it's 2009 already, what with my withdrawal symptoms in the last few days of 2008, then carried over to the first few days of 2009. hahahah.

many meet-ups and many non-meet-ups. gees, i guess you can't have the best of both worlds eh? going out entails a lot of time, a lot of energy and worse of all, putting up with a lot of noise. so when i'm not up to it, i hide. especially with the face LAR. damn sad.

and so i shun all the photo-taking, at least to the minimal (relative to the camwhores in xiuyi and jessie, GOODNESS!).

there was the walkabout with ling; late astons' with nancy and michelle; EARLY (damn early!) queueing for Mayday concert tics with yanru, cindy, jace and many other fanatics on yanru's 20th birthday - happy 20th (!!); fisherman's wharf-ed with carissa and qian (while ling flew to the airport); steamboat at jieying's with full attendance LEH (!!!); gaming at Mind Cafe with pamela, priscilla and ellien!

that, pretty much summed up my last days of 2008 - there, told you i wasn't particularly sociable HAHAH. the ecp trip with college friends was postponed and postponed; the singing with ling was also pushed back; the dinner at geylang with the guys was skipped too.

SHEEESH.

so, on lazy days, i simply laze at home. reading manga, reading magazines, blog-hopping! a feeling i never used to enjoy, but i've come to learn to enjoy time with myself. so much so, that i skip alot of dates.

and my current addiction is to DIY mask recipes! damn exciting. :D:D oh, add to that, fruits basket. yet another love.

i'm aware of slipping in 2008, having been distracted like i always am. one moment i'd be so fired up to carry out all the ingenious thoughts; the next, something else will catch my eyes (and mind). such an unfocused person, ayes.

i can feel my studies crumbling. my dear friend who loves white is happily dating so much that she forgot about our pending study dates, which turned out non-existent. shit, me being unfocused, studying with another unfocused person = die. CANNOT. ling, you please don't abandon me.

that's it. we're so going to stay back everyday after school to complete the day's work. and i've to catch up with the past months'. and i've to revise last year's work for macroecons! not to mention, make heads and tails out of corporate finance. loads, heaps, piles.

AND HOLY SHIT! I JUST REMEMBERED THERE WAS HOMEWORK FOR MANAGERIAL ECONS!!!!!!
